Connecting Europe Days 2026

5GAA will be represented at Connecting Europe Days 2026, taking place in Brussels from 30 September to 1 October 2026.

As part of the programme, David Roiné, Director, Product Strategy at Valeo BRAIN Division, will speak in the session “Road Infrastructure Support for Future Vehicles” on 30 September, from 09:00 to 10:30, in Studio 313+315.

The session will present insights from the European Union Research and Innovation for the Automotive Sector (EURIAS) Expert Group and explore how road infrastructure can support the deployment of future vehicles through connectivity, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, trusted data exchange and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) solutions.

Representing 5GAA, David Roiné will highlight the importance of trust in infrastructure-originated information for higher levels of vehicle automation, the role of connectivity in safe automated vehicle operations, and the need for stronger coordination across European initiatives to accelerate deployment and avoid fragmentation.
